The Ellington Historical Society invites friends, families, local businesses, organizations, and volunteer groups, to our first-ever Wickets & Whimsy: Nellie's Great Lawn Social! Friday, June 26, 2026 5:15 PM – 8:30 PMNellie McKnight Museum, 70 Main Street, Ellington.  Enjoy a summer evening filled with:
-Croquet competition
-Jazz Age garden party atmosphere
-Gatsby-inspired, vintage, or garden party attire if you wish
-Prizes for whimsy and styleTeam building and friendly competition
-Food and refreshments available
-Teams can include up to 6 players, making this the perfect outing for coworkers, volunteers, board members, friends, and family.

Whether you're playing croquet, showing off your vintage style, or simply enjoying a beautiful summer evening on the museum grounds, there's something for everyone.
