The Ellington Historical Society will join Ellington Celebrates America 250 on Saturday, October 3, with the Nellie McKnight Museum open from 1 to 5 p.m. at 70 Main Street.

As the community celebrates 250 years of American history, visitors are invited to discover the story of Ellington through the Historical Society’s current exhibit, “Our Town, Our Story: An Ellington Timeline.” The exhibit traces Ellington’s history from its founding in 1786 to the present, highlighting local people, places and events alongside important moments in American history.
