Ellington Historical Society and Ellington Community Theatre invite actors and actresses to audition on September 6th for the interactive cemetery tour, Ellington Epitaphs-Stories in Stone, where the townspeople of the 1700s and 1800s return to share their incredible stories. Expect touching moments, surprising twists, and unforgettable encounters with the characters who shaped Elllington. The event will take place on Saturday, October 18th beginning in the afternoon. Rain date is Sunday, October 19th.
They are looking for actors ages 7 and up* to portray these neighbors of yesteryear through memorable monologues and lively interactions. This immersive experience promises to be as moving as it is entertaining. You do not need to be an Ellington resident to participate!
Audition materials will be available to be picked up at Ellington's Hall Memorial Library or email ectboardofdirectors@gmail.com or info@ellingtonhistsoc.org to request a digital copy.
Auditions will be held Saturday, September 6th at 10am in the Hall Memorial Library. Come to the McKnight Community Room at 10AM to sign in and get an audition time.
