The entire family will enjoy a glimpse at life in a Civil War Camp. Kids can take part in a mock drill, teaching them basic marching skills, see how the soldiers cooked, and enjoy the musket firings. Civil War experts from the New England Civil War Museum and Research Center will be on hand for impromptu talks on uniforms, food, local Civil War ancestors, and questions. The Nellie McKnight Museum featuring the Crystal Lake Showcase will be open during the event. Admission is free.
